Democrats Under Assault From Base In Swing States Over Impeachment
Democrats are in trouble and they know it, we all do. They have placed themselves in a corner, one they seem unable to extract themselves from and yet they continue down this destructive path of impeachment. Increased hostilities, even from their own districts, is something many are finding is rising daily as they continue down this path they are on.
Today we are starting to witness the downfall of the Democratic control of the house as well as their influence in the Senate as constituents are beginning to push back, finding their support of impeachment as unacceptable.
Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin of Michigan is facing pressure from her voters and has told them that she would rather be unseated then vote against impeachment, something that will most likely doom any chance she has of re-election.
As the hearings showed nothing in the way of justification for the impeachment of Trump, anger in districts that vote for Trump is starting to build. The Democrats in swing states, or communities that voted for Trump, and may very well do so again, find themselves under increased pressure from their constituents that don’t support what their representatives are.
The speaking engagements of these representatives are quickly becoming heated as they are brought under fire.
Constituents in Rep. Abigail Spanberger’s moderate district, who unseated Republican Rep. Dave Brat last year, who both supported and opposed the impeachment effort shouted at times during the event in Spotsylvania, Virginia. She was discussing her record and instances when she voted against House Democratic leadership when a few audience members interrupted and told her to move on to impeachment.
“My opinion of our inquiry is mine and mine alone. No one has pressured me to vote in any particular way from within the party. And I will not be pressured to vote in any particular way,” she said. “The allegations against the President are incredibly, incredibly serious.”
“They’re bulls***,” one attendee said as another shouted that “it’s crap.”
“It’s a lie, it’s all a lie,” an attendee said, a remark Spanberger responded to by highlighting the various House hearings held as part of the inquiry.
“Those witnesses have all affirmed and all agreed on what happened,” she said. “That the President sought to use military assistance … as leverage to get a foreign government to do what he wanted.”
“It’s all lies, it’s all lies,” an attendee yelled, cutting off the congresswoman, who is visibly frustrated with the crosstalk.
What is of note here, it turns out the representative forgot what her duty was; it was not to vote on what she wanted, she is a representative of the people who voted for her, she is there to vote on what they want. Yet we hear again and again from her and other Democrats they are the arbitrators of this decision, their constituents be damned.

The exchange between her and her constituents went on to show what I stated:
Later during Sunday’s event, Spanberger said, “no one has dispelled or attempted to dispel or provide evidence that would exonerate the President,” prompting several audience members to criticize her comments harshly.
“Did you really say that? You have to prove you’re innocent?” one person sarcastically asked.
Following more back and forth between audience members and Spanberger, the congresswoman noted that impeachment is “a constitutional remedy that is outlined in the Constitution.”
“But if it’s such a polarizing issue, let’s put it to the voter’s next fall,” another said, cutting off Spanberger. A loud exchange then occurs between attendees, with people on both sides of the issue talking back and forth as the congresswoman attempts to retake control of the floor.
“This isn’t about this election. This isn’t about this President. It is about the presidency,” she said. “It is about what behavior is deemed to be appropriate. It is about the security of our 2020 election.”
It isn’t about the security of the 2020 election, it really is about securing a victory for the Democrats in 2020. They claim that this is about the integrity of the 2020 election, this is a lie, this is about making sure Trump can’t run.
It isn’t about the security of the 2020 election at all, it’s about securing a victory for the Democrats in 2020. They claim that this is about the integrity of the 2020 election and this is a lie, this is about making sure Trump can’t run as the Democrats know they have no chance of beating him in an open election as things stand now, so they are using their office to try to seditiously attack and remove him.
It is not foreign interference that is the problem here, it is about domestic interference, the willingness of the Democrats to go to any end to rid themselves of Trump, another term is something they are willing to go to any extreme to stop, even the seditious coup we see going on now.
2020 is around the corner; the GOP needs to ensure that voters are reminded of this in swing states, sound bites of Congressmen and women along with senators should be played over and over for all to see. It is time for all these Democrats that seem to care more about the party then what they were elected to do to be exposed and removed.
