Trump Is Keeping His Promises

President Donald Trump is a man of his words… and he has many words.

So far, Trump has fulfilled numerous campaign promises. Most recently, he has fulfilled the promises of tax reform and moving the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

After tax bills were passed in the House of Representative and the Senate, the last step for Trump’s promise of lower taxes being fulfilled is a reconciliation between the two bills and Trump’s signature.

One key feature of the tax plan is a 20% corporate tax rate. A low corporate tax rate is necessary for another Trump promise: keeping jobs in America.

If the United States has a low corporate tax rate, businesses will be able to more easily operate within the borders of the United States. Previously, our corporate tax rate was among the highest in the world. Even at 20%, we’d have a higher rate than some countries like the United Kingdom, which plans to have a corporate tax rate of 18%.

Trump’s decision to move the embassy to Jerusalem was another one of Trump’s big campaign promises. Many presidents in the past have echoed similar goals, such as George W. Bush and Barack Obama, but Trump is the first to fulfill this promise.

The decision to move the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem has caused violent protests in Palestine, and some think it may increase tensions in the region. Others see it as a sign of progress in the region.

There is also a slew of campaign promises kept by Trump other than tax reform and US embassy in Jerusalem.

One website,, tracks President Trump’s accomplishments.

Some accomplishments for October 2017 include:

  • Consumer confidence highest level since December 2000
  • Q3 GDP at 3 Percent – Beats Expectations
  • School Choice tops the list of Priorities U.S. Education Department Grants
  • Trump: ‘We are stopping cold the attacks on Judeo-Christian values’

There is one campaign promise that Trump has not yet fulfilled. He said that we would get tired of winning.
